  Part of the Far Coast project, a standing conference table was also created to their requirements. Wanting to have a similar language as the chair, we took design hints   and translated them into the table. Because RTA (flat pack) was also a requirement, the Infusion team was able to create the RTA pieces to be structurally stable with   no compromise to the design. This eliminated a cross lateral support piece between the legs.

  Many sketches, scale models. 3d renderings, and full scale prototypes were created in a short period of time (1 month). Because of it's height (38"), we wanted to make   sure it was extremely stable for use in a public social environment like the 2010 Winter Olympics. We modified many full scale prototypes until we were able to   maximize stability while meeting the required RTA requirement. As with the lounge chair, this is 1 of 3 designs chosen to be mass manufactured for Far Coast for the   Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
